Press Release: Jamia Hindi professor gets the Dr. Ramvilas Sharma Alochna Award for the year 2011

Prof. Durga Prasad Gupta of Department of Hindi, Jamia Millia Islamia has been awarded the Dr. Ramvilas Sharma Alochna Award for the year 2011 for his significant contribution to the field of Hindi Literature. The award has been instituted by Kedar Shodh Peeth Nayas.

He has been working in the areas of Hindi Criticism and Poetry for the last 3 decades. Currently he is a Professor in the Department of Hindi.

Prof. Durga Prasad Gupta’s important publications are – i) Adhuniktawad ii) Adhuniktawad Aur Sahitya iii) Sanskriti Ka Akelapan iv) Srijan Ka Rang, etc
