Dr Mamoon Nomani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Art Education, F/o Fine Arts, JMI, New Delhi. Dr Nomani has participated in 09 Solo Shows, 34 Group Shows and 10 International Shows. He holds the privilege of exhibiting his works in a considerable 10 All Indian Exhibitions, 5 National Exhibitions, 4 Regional Exhibition, 19 State Exhibitions and preserves the experience of being 07 times an Invited Artist & Curator for Exhibitions along with 24 Nationals All India Artist Camp. Dr Nomani has 05 awards and scholarships to his name.
His work is reviewed a considerable 65 times in different Newspapers and Magazines. He has been an active member of 8 selection committees, has evaluated 15 PhD Thesis and taken 11 PhD Viva Voce as an expert. He has acted as a Jury member in the academic, cultural and government spaces for 33 times. He has handled 39 essential administrative responsibilities handed over by the University. He has acted as a panellist for 10 times. And lastly, he has an experience of being an external examiner for MFA/MA and BFA/BA for 88 times.
