Prof. Mohd. Asad Malik is currently teaching in the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has studied law in M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.), and Ph.D. on‘State Liability in Tort: A Case Study of India’ from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi . He has more than 20 years of experience of teaching and research. He has taught Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitution, Administrative Law, Law of Tort, Cr.P.C., Comparative Cr.P.C., Criminal Justice Administration, Jurisprudence, Professional Ethics, Clinical Course, Seminar Course, Legal and Constitutional History, Law and Poverty, Law of Evidence, Election Law, Judicial Process and Cyber Crime.
He has also worked as a lecturer in M.B.S. (P.G.) College, Gangapur Raja Talab, Varanasi, K.G.K. College, Moradabad and University of Lucknow. His area of interest is Constitutional Law and Code of Criminal Procedure. He has more than two dozen published papers in International / National Journals and presented Papers in various International and National conferences and symposiums as well as attended many Conferences / Seminars / Symposiums / Conventions.
He has also delivered Invited Lectures in various programmes (e.g. IAS, IPS, IRS, Judicial officers, ITS, PCS, HCS, JAG officers from Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, Labour Commissioners, Forest officers, Doctors, Engineers, Excise Inspectors, Officers/officials  of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and Stae Legislature Secretriates, officers from all arms and services of the Indian Army of the Rank of Col/Lt Col., SPPS of NCB, FDP, Teachers Training Programme and to the students of various universities/colleges etc). Also presided over as a judge in various International/National Moot Court Competitions/Seminar/Conferences.
 He has also organised National Moot Court competitions, Intra-Faculty Moot Court Competitions, National Seminars, Symposiums, Legal Awareness Camps, Extension Lectures and has been an active member in the administration of the university as well e.g. In-charge of the Internship and Placement committee, member of Committee of Studies, Faculty Committee, Academic Council, Research Coordinator, Subject Advisor, Coordinator for CBCS as well as elected member of Executive Committee of Jamia Teacher’s Association,(2016-2018), he has served as an Assistant DSW, Deputy DSW, Offciating DSW, Officiating director of University Counselling & Guidance Centre, Officiating Chief Proctor and presently he was an elected member of Acedemic Council for two terms and also working as a Deputy Proctor, Manager of Anglo Arabic Senior Secondary School and Greivances and Redressal officer of the University.
