Dr. Ansar Ahmad, Ph.D. (Education), M.Phil. (Education), M.Ed., M.A. (Geo), PGD in Disaster Management, Certificate in “Remote Sensing & GIS Technology and Application for UT & Government Officials” from Govt. of India, Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), India Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, UGC-NET (both Education & Geography) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Teacher Training & Non-Formal Education (IASE), Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has been a Visiting Faculty for IGNOU and Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE).Earlier he worked as Assistant Professor of Education at Department of Elementary Education, Miranda House, University of Delhi and Assistant Professor (Ad hoc) Department of Education, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, University of Delhi. Dr. Ahmad has a Teaching and Research Experience of more than 10 Years; his area of interests includes Social Science Education (with super specialization of Geography Education), Teacher Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration, Curriculum Studies and Measurement and Evaluation. He is a recipient of International Teacher’s Pride Award 2021 at World Teacher’s Day on October 05, 2021. Dr. Ahmad is a founding Editor of Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF)-Journal- Journal Multidisciplinary Research; A Peer Reviewed Journal. He has credit to have published many Research Papers and Articles in various Journals of National and International repute, 5 Books/Chapters and 4 Units/Blocks in Self-Learning Material (SLM) prepared for M.A. (Education) for Distance Education Programme. He has delivered more than 35 Invited Lectures/Talks and attended 50 Workshops and Training programmes across the Country. He is contributing in the university administration in many capacities like: Nodal Officer IQAC, Assistant Superintendent of Annual Exams, Assistant Superintendent of Entrance Exams, Centre Level Observer (CLO) at National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disability (NIEPMD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, NBER, Chennai, Assistant Coordinator of B.Ed. Programme at Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), President, Alumni Association of Department of Educational Studies (AADES), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

He has been Co-Convener and Organizing Secretary of National and International Conferences, successfully Coordinated various Workshops, In-Service Training Programme and Refresher Course for College and University Professors and School Teachers at UGC-Human Resource Development Centre. He has been associated with National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, IGNOU, SCERT, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, U.P., Centre for Distance and Online Education, Al-Falah University, Faridabad, Haryana.
