Dr. Abuzar Khairi is working as Associate Professor at the Academy of International Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He received his Master and PhD degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and joined as faculty at JMI, where he is working since 1997. Dr. Khairi has been engaged in teaching, research and research supervision at Academy of International Studies since 2007. He has researched and published extensively on the resurgence of local and regional cultures, languages and religions in Central Asia. One of his published articles has been translated and reproduced in Persian in Tehran. He has participated in a number of national and international conferences, scientific symposiums and seminars in Delhi, Tehran, Ufa, Dhaka, Istanbul, Bishkek, Antalya, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Baku, Dushanbe, Konya, Aligarh, Kashmir and Mumbai.
