Dr. Navaid Zafar Rizvi has obtained his doctorate in the area of Microsystems Engineering (Department of ECE), M.S in Information and Communication

Engineering from Technical University Darmstadt- Germany, and M.S in Microsystems Engineering from Hochschule University Furtwangen, Germany. 

Presently he has been with Jamia Millia Islamia University (A Central University), New Delhi. Before this assignment he was with Gautam Buddha University, for 13 years.

Dr. Rizvi has served as Coordinate & Convener, Centre of Excellence Drone Technology.

His area of Interest lies in RF VLSI and RF Communication Engineering and its applications, MEMS Design, and VLSI Design. 

Presently he is working in Machine Intelligence for ICs & Energy Systems, Under him more than 80 Dissertation students, and 100 UG & PG project students have completed their research projects.

He has more 60 research Journal/ Conference publications  He have been awarded IETE best research paper Gowri Award in 2016. 

He is a technical motivator and an able communicator and delivered more than 30 technical Keynote talks in FDPs, Invited lectures, and symposiums.
