Professor Kaushal Kishore is currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Educational Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Previously, he was the Dean of the School of Education and Head of the Department of Teacher Education at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya, where he also served as Chief Proctor for five years. At CUSB, he also served as the Coordinator of the National Resource Centre for Education, established by the Ministry of Education and developed two MOOCs for teacher educators through the SWAYAM platform under the ARPIT scheme.

With more than 20 years of teaching and research experience across institutions like Central University of South Bihar, Guru Ghasidas Central University, and JRD University, Professor Kishore has given over 400 invited lectures and published extensively, with over 60 research papers, articles and chapters, three books, and one registered patent. He has held numerous administrative roles and is active on editorial and review boards of academic journals. Currently, he is the Joint Secretary and a member of the executive of the Indian Association of Teacher Educators (IATE) and recently was nominated by the Ministry of Education to the Eastern Regional Committee of the NCTE.
