We hope this letter finds you well. We extend a warm invitation to your prestigious organization to participate in our Campus Placement Drive at Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia for the MCA/MSc batches graduating in the year 2027.
We are proud of the academic rigor and comprehensive training that our MCA/MSc students undergo. JMI university was established in 1920 and has been awarded NAAC A++ grade with #4 position among central universities and #13 position overall in NIRF rankings by the Ministry of Education in 2026. Our institution has a rich tradition of nurturing talent, and our students from various disciplines, particularly in Computer Science, are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their professional careers.
The MCA 2027 batch is involved with 53 students having industry aligned skills and projects. The curriculum encompasses many areas such as; Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Algorithm Design, Software Engineering, Web and Mobile Application Development, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science like Big Data Analytics, Business Intelligence as well as Software Project Management programs and Database Management Systems.
The M.Sc. Bioinformatics 2027 batch with 35 students are equipped lot with all the skills required to be a bioinformatician. Programming languages like Python, R, C++, SQL, HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript are part of curriculum. To build strong biological background students are taught Genomics, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. The program has papers to ensure that the students have a good computational and mathematical background. Most importantly, the students have a strong grasp of the bioinformatics concepts, databases (like NCBI, EMBL, DDBJ, UniProt), and tools (like Cytoscape, NebCutter, BLAST, MEGA). To keep up with the current demand the program ensures that our students have a good grasp of NGS Data Analysis. This program also covers areas like Drug Discovery, Drug Design, Chemoinformatics, Systems Biology, and Structural Bioinformatics.
M.Sc. AIML 2027 batch with strength of 40 students are having strong skills related to Generative AI and Deep learning. Along with core computer science papers such as Data Structures, OOP, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Digital Logic Design, Algorithm Design, Web and Mobile Application Development, they are well equipped with Data Science & AI/ML related Python libraries such as Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch with CUDA, Transformer, LLM finetuning, Transfer learning, Cloud Computing with AWS, Big Data Analytics, MLOPs/DevOps, Generative AI, and Business Intelligence.
Despite the IT industry's slowdown, our MCA/MSc AI & ML 2026 batches have achieved an impressive placement rate of approximately 40%, showcasing their resilience and ability to excel even in challenging conditions. Some of our recent recruiters included popular firms such as Nvidia, Ciena, Prometrix.ai, Mckinley Rice, Optum, Busy Infotech, CNH, EXL, Hexaview, IMPETUS, S&P Global, SoftAge, Accenture, CloudKeeper, To The New, TCS, Tech Mahindra among others. M.Sc. Bioinformatics 2026 batch students could grab research and employment positions in AIIMS, TIGS Bengaluru, CorroHealth, etc.
