When contacting via email, please include your name, enrollment number, course details, and a clear description of the issue.

2. What documents should I submit when filing a grievance?

Depending on the nature of your grievance, you may need to submit:

  • A copy of your Student ID card.
  • A copy of your hall ticket or admit card.
  • Mark sheets or result copies (if applicable).
  • Supporting evidence, such as fee payment receipts or attendance records.
  • A formal letter or application explaining your grievance in detail.
3. What types of grievances are addressed by the Controller of Examination Office?

The CoE Office addresses grievances related to:

  • Errors in results or marks.
  • Requests for re-evaluation or rechecking of answer scripts.
  • Withheld or missing results.

6. Can I track the status of my grievance?
  • Yes, grievances submitted through the online portal or official channels can be tracked using the unique reference number provided at the time of submission. Regular updates are also sent via email or SMS.
7. What should I do if my result is withheld?
  • If your result is withheld, it is likely due to pending documentation, unpaid fees, or administrative issues. Contact the CoE Office to determine the reason and provide the required documents or fulfil pending obligations to resolve the issue.
8. What is the process for redressal/re-evaluation of an answer script?

(Redressal applies only to regular courses, while re-evaluation applies only to self-finance courses.) The process includes the following steps:

  • Submit the form for redressal/re-evaluation through the student portal along with the prescribed fee.
  • The CoE Office assigns an examiner to independently reassess your answer script.
  • Any changes in marks will be communicated to you, and a revised mark sheet will be issued if applicable.
9. What happens if I am accused of examination malpractice?

If you are accused of malpractice, you will receive a formal notification. The examination committee, as outlined in Academic Ordinance 16(XVI), Section 3, will take the following steps:

  • Conduct an inquiry to investigate the allegation.
  • Provide you with the opportunity to present your explanation or defence.
  • Take appropriate action based on the findings, ensuring fairness and compliance with university rules.
