About Department of Computer Engineering
Department of Computer Engineering under the faculty of Engineering & Technology plays a pivotal role in driving excellence in computing and information technology education. Established in 2000, the department has steadily grown into one of the leading engineering departments at JMI, offering rigorous B. Tech programs in Computer Engineering and B. Tech. (Data Sciences), as well as M. Tech programs in Computer Engineering (AI & ML) and M. Tech. (Data Sciences), and an active Ph.D. research programme. The department’s curriculum is designed to meet evolving industry demands, with focus areas spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, networking, data mining, and more. It also fosters strong industry interactions, research output, and student exposure to cutting-edge technologies, preparing graduates for careers in software, research, and innovation.
The faculty members are pioneers, deeply engaged in research across fields critical to the conference, including Networking, Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
