The Department of Computer Engineering was started in the year 2000. As a leading department at the Faculty of Engg & Tech, with its students winning several National and International level awards in the recent years, including Smart India Hackathon 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2022. Its faculty members are involved in active research and have published research papers in journals and conferences indexed by Science Citation Index (SCIE) and Scopus. The Department offers B. Tech. (NBA Accredited) , M. Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. As per the NIRF-2023, Faculty of Engg & Tech, JMI has secured 26th rank among all Indian Engg. institutes.
About the Course:
- The course offers lectures as well as hands-on sessions over programming and related concepts from subject experts.
- Hands-on experience through a series of modules.
The course comprises of five modules:
- Introduction to AI and Python Basics
- Applied Data Science with Python
- Machine Learning Algorithms
- Deep Learning for Computer Vision using Keras & Tensorflow
- Deep Learning for NLP using Keras & Tensorflow
- Industry practitioners and Expert faculty from JMI and other reputed central/foreign universities, IITs, NITs, and IIITs shall deliver lectures.
- No-Code/Low-Code ways of using AI also to be covered in relevant modules
- Total available seats : 130 (Offline 80, Online 50). Seats to be filled on First Come First Served basis for eligible candidates only.
- Sessions shall be conducted from Monday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm
