STTP AIML 2026

STTP AIML 2026 Short term training program on AI & ML is the 4th edition of the successful series of events hosted at the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi from 30th June to 17th July 2025 (hybrid mode). This events aims for bringing together budding researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and practitioners from around the world for a hands-on based learning of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.


About STTP AIML 2026

  • STTP offers lectures as well as hands-on sessions over programming and related concepts from subject experts.
  • Hands-on experience through a series of modules.
  • The STTP comprises of five modules:
    • Introduction to AI and Python Basics
    • Applied Data Science with Python
    • Machine Learning Algorithms
    • Deep Learning for Computer Vision using Keras & Tensorflow
    • Deep Learning for NLP using Keras & Tensorflow
  • Industry practitioners and Expert faculty from JMI and other reputed central/foreign universities, IITs, NITs, and IIITs shall deliver lectures.
  • Few No-Code/Low-Code ways of using AI also to be covered in relevant modules
  • Total available seats : 160 (Offline 60, Online 100)
  • Seats to be filled on First Come First Served basis for eligible candidates only.
  • Sessions shall be conducted from Monday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm

  Interested Participants must submit this filled form at the earliest.
  All forms will be scrutinised to meet eligibility criteria.
  Eligible candidates shall be sent an email individually informing about payment mode and process.
  Fee is to be paid only after receiving email notification from the Organising committee and NOT at the time of submitting the registration form.

Eligibility Criteria :

Open to all Diploma, UG, PG and PhD scholars and Faculty with Maths/CS background.

Key Features

  • A targeted Python programming based curriculum over essential concepts & techniques in AI and ML.
  • Practical-oriented approach including primarily Coding and some Non-Coding ways that emphasize hands-on learning and practical applications of AI and ML.
  • Session slides and other resource materials shall be distributed.
  • Continuous evaluation of progress through quizzes, assignments.
  • Content being offered in both Offline as well as Online Mode.
  • A certificate from Jamia Millia Islamia to all successful candidates.

About The Department

The Department of Computer Engineering, JMI, was established in the year 2000. Since then it has emerged as one of the leading departments at the Faculty of Engineering. The department offers a comprehensive academic curriculum ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels. The department provides an NBA-accredited B. Tech. in Computer Engineering with an Honors option and another B. Tech. in CSE-Data Science (SFS), alongside postgraduate offerings that include an M. Tech. in AI & ML and an M. Tech. in Data Sciences (SFS). Advancing its academic rigor, the department maintains a strong research focus for PhD scholars in cutting-edge domains such as AI, ML, NLP, Data Mining, Data Analytics, and Network Security. Beyond academics, the department boasts excellent placement records across both domestic and international institutions, driven by a highly accomplished student body that has consistently won numerous national and international awards in recent years, including multiple victories at the Smart India Hackathon in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2018, and 2017.
