Dr. Paul is a Senior Assistant Professor in Development Communication at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, where she also serves as the Programme Coordinator for the M.A. in Development Communication. With over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and media training, Dr. Paul has made significant contributions to the fields of development communication, participatory media, and media literacy.

She has been instrumental in designing MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and postgraduate curricula, ensuring that communication education remains relevant and impactful in addressing societal challenges.

Dr. Paul’s practice-based Ph.D. research explores interactive games and performance for social change, with a particular focus on mental health and youth. She recently co-edited a book titled Emerging Trends in Development Communication and Journalism, reflecting her commitment to advancing the discourse in her field.

Actively engaged in the social and development sector, Dr. Paul develops communication strategies and media campaigns that address critical social issues. She is recognized for inspiring young minds towards social and behavior change communication, leveraging community media platforms.

Her research interests span social networking for development, youth empowerment, and media engagement. She has presented her work at prestigious platforms, including the 15th UNESCO-APEID International Conference in Jakarta, IAMCR conferences in France and Christchurch, Mobile Study Congress in China, and the International Entertainment-Education Conference in New Delhi.

A passionate theatre enthusiast, Dr. Paul has served as a judge at numerous theatre festivals and presented her work at both national and international forums. Her passion for edutainment and participatory research is reflected in her studies on street theatre, community games, and mobile journalism (MOJO) for social change.
