Abid Ali KHAN is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India. Dr. Khan did his B.Sc. Engg. (Civil) with Honours from AMU, India in 1995. In 1997, He joined Master’s Program in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering at same university after one year field job. After graduating from IIT Roorkee, India, He joined Royal Haskoning DHV and worked as a Senior Wastewater Expert until 2014. He was involved in R&D, Design and Technology development of wastewater especially NEREDA and Post Treatment of Anaerobic Effluent based technologies for South East Asian and South American countries.
Since 2014, Dr. Khan is working as an Assistant Professor in Jamia Millia Islamia, a top 10 ranked university in India. Dr. Khan is a member of several professional bodies and organizations. He is an active Reviewer of more than 10 International Peer Reviewed Journals. Dr. Khan has wide international research exposure and worked at Technion (Israel), DHV in association TU Delft (The Netherlands), and South Africa.
Dr. Khan has guided 4 Masters Students, 2 PhD students are under supervision and published more than 30 & 25 research papers in peer reviewed Journals of high impact factor and conferences. He has authored/ co-authored book chapters and Manuals on Sewerage and Sewage Treatment by Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India.
Dr, Khan has more than 10 years of research, industrial mainly on wastewater treatment and teaching experience at national and international level.
