  • Proposed a new PG course (M.Tech in Earthquake Engg.) which was duly approved by AICTE in 2005 and is submitted to UGC for its final approval.
  • Introduced a new core course on Earthquake Engineering in final semester of B.Tech (Civil) Engg.
  • Submitted a proposal to NPEEE (National Programme on Earthquake Engineering Education) for procurement of books on Earthquake Engineering which was duly approved and the books costing Rs.1.0 lakhs have already been received in the department.
  • Proposal submitted to AICTE for Modernization of Structural Engineering Lab (MODROBS) in 2005 which was approved for an amount of Rs. 7.6 lakhs.
  • Rs.16.0 lakhs granted by Vice – Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia for the purchase of Universal Testing Machine, Electronic Torsion Testing Machine and Electronic Izod Charpy Testing Machine against the proposal submitted in 2004.
  • Proposal amounts Rs.46.0 lakhs submitted to NPEEE (National Programme on Earthquake Engineering Education) in 2006 for the development of Structural Engineering laboratory in the Department of Civil engineering.
