Dr Md Musa Ali is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, with around 12 years of teaching experience, including UG, PG, and PhD classes. He possesses strong academic credentials, including a Ph.D. in Education from Banaras Hindu University, along with M.Phil., M.Ed., M.Sc., and B.Ed. degrees. Additionally, he has qualified prestigious exams such as UGC NET/JRF in Education, UGC NET in Adult Education, and SLET in Education, that reflecting his academic excellence and commitment to the field of education.


His areas of specialisation include teaching of Mathematics and Physical Science, Educational Research, Educational Technology, Guidance and Counselling, and Educational Administration. His research primarily focuses on the socio-psychological and secular aspects of madrasa education and on metacognition, as seen in his PhD, M.Phil., and M.Ed. work. Beyond teaching, Dr. Ali has extensive administrative and academic service experience, having held numerous roles at AMU and JMI, including organising seminars, conferences, workshops, managing laboratories, overseeing the library and stock verification, faculty in- charge of attendance, IQAC, NAAC, NCTE, Annual report and participating in various institutional committees. He has contributed to academic literature with about 20 research publications in reputed journals, focusing on themes such as secularism, meta-cognition, nationalism, and mathematics education. He delivered more than 20 lectures as an expert in reputed institutions like, IASE, SCERTs, IGNOU, etc. He also attended more than 50 National and international seminars/conferences and workshops. Presently he is associated with other reputed organisations as an expert, like, NTA, TCS, UKPSC, NCERT, and SCERTs. Overall his profile reflects a dedicated academician with strong research interests, administrative capabilities, and a consistent record of professional engagement in education.
