Dr. Mohd. Sadiq has been working as an Associate Professor (Computer Engineering) since October 2018 and Section In-Charge/Head of Computer Engineering Section, University Polytechnic (Formerly Department of Technology), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, India. Dr. Sadiq received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India, in 2017. He has co-supervised four Ph.D. students and currently, three Ph.D. students are working in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and Business Information Systems. He is an Associate Editor of International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, Springer.

Dr. Sadiq has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow for two years (2019-2021) in Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence Lab, Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India. In addition to his research work, he taught Soft Computing (Fuzzy and Rough set theory) and Intelligent Agents (Logic and Expert Systems) to Ph. D. and M. Tech. students jointly with his postdoc advisor at IISc Bangalore. Prior to coming to IISc Bangalore, he worked for three months as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2016) at the Center for Soft Computing Research, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, India. He was a visiting scientist at ISI Bangalore Centre, India, during December 2017-January 2018. His research interests lie at the intersection of software engineering and multi-criteria decision-making algorithms. Dr. Sadiq has published his research work in SCIE/ Scopus /ABDC listed journals.
